Over the past year or so I have found myself receiving more and more calls from non-profits, causes, and school groups who are looking for unique and “out of the box” ways in which to raise money for their organizations. These calls and e-mails all come from groups who are looking for fresh and new ways to add value to their organizations, or at an even more baseline level, looking to survive in an economy that is proving to be more and more challenging to these types of groups. Myself and my stage partner in the Between 2 Minds show do whatever we can to make the process for these groups as easy as possible, and incredibly risk free on their part. The details are as follows:

No Risk Fundraising Program

We provide our show with zero up front fee, and with that there is virtually zero risk to booking us for your event! We operate on a split of the ticket price, typically 50%, but if we’re doing a dinner & a show scenario, that number will change, of course. We also cap our overall fee for the event. That cap number changes from show to show based on our travel and lodging costs, but is always fully disclosed from the start so there are no surprises, no extra costs, or hidden fees. This cap allows for groups with a lot of reach and access to larger venues to make substantial amounts of money hosting these shows. Some of our largest fundraiser shows have raised over $10,000 for the group on ticket sales alone! Sponsorship and on site fundraising money added even more to the success.

Most school groups already have access to a theater or auditorium that they can utilize at zero cost to them. This is always the preferred method, as our goal is to work with groups to maximize the ability to raise funds for the cause.

Assistance with Ticket Sales

Once these elements are squared away, we enter into what is likely the most difficult task with respect to making one of these shows a success: selling tickets. We will do everything we can, including providing our most up to date guide on ticket sales and event promotion, to each organization upon selecting dates and solidifying the event. We also provide all of the essential marketing elements, such as customized promotional video, posters, and press release templates to your group at no additional charge. Even with our fees capped on these events, we want a full room, and more over, we want your event to be a wild success where you’re looking to secure dates to the next one before we leave the room!

Stress Free Day of Event

Streamlining day of event! This may be the absolute best part of these events! Other than having a crew on hand to check people in who have bought tickets, once we reach the day of the event, we run the show! There is almost no work that your organization needs to do on the day of the event to make things happen. Once we line up with the tech people at your venue, we take it from there. You’re always welcome to say a few words at the onset of the show, or during intermission, but our show is a Las Vegas caliber stage show that will run on it’s own (well. we’re the ones who run it) without any need for anything else like that! So unlike other events where step one is to sell the products, and step two is to tackle the nightmarish logistics of sorting, distributing, and delivering all of the sold products, you really only have to deal with step one!
